Flagler Beach, FL

10 Dec

After our Hollywood Weekend in Hickory, we did a one night stay in Savannah just as a cold front came through and that spurred us on to depart early for Flagler Beach.  We found a nifty RV park right on the beach and I’m not exaggerating.  Here’s the view through our windshield:

And here’s a different perspective (the fisherman on the beach were nice enough to pose for me).

We’re always on the lookout for good restaurants.  JoJami is the restaurant genie and I’m the parking genie (I always find a close parking space).  But today,  I sniffed out the restaurant on a chance whim and by force of sheer luck.

So far, we’ve eaten two dinners and two lunches here.  If this place was in NYC it would have its own reality show.  It is so simple and so good that we overheard a few folks talking about the 2 hour drive they had to get here.  Here’s what it looks like inside:

And wouldn’t you know on the way here we ran across JoJami’s favorite thing in the world, a farmer’s market!  Here she is ogling another of her favorite things – brussel sprouts:

Isn’t nature wonderful?!!!

Loved the scenery. So glad you are posting, it is fun!
How do you make your Brussels sprouts? And what on earth do they have to do with Brussels? Did you ever ask Alex??
