We just arrived at our next 1 month destination!
It’s a 55 and over community called Sarasota Sunny South. They waved the 55+ rule cause we promised we wouldn’t party past 9:00pm. It’s in a great location not far from beautiful Siesta Key – voted the best beach in America, or something. The best part is it’s 78 degrees and sunny! But JoJami and I are really torn because we feel we have an unfair advantage over our truly 55+ neighbors (who don’t have iPhones) . Example: we took a quick drive in the Mini to get our bearings and we were hungry so JoJami whipped out her iPhone and pulled up the Open Table app: let’s do Italian – and BAM! we were booked in no time and they had an Early Bird Special – shared salad, two orders of veal piccata and a shared tiramisu plus a bottle of Chianti – in and out for $50 including a 30% tip! The food was really good! And they even had a Menorah in the reception area. What’s not to like?!!
